yoga albany ny
I am moving to Albany, NY… looking for certain community?
My wife and I just got jobs in the Albany area (Troy specifically) and are now planning our move. We do not know the communities around Albany and would like some help.
We are looking for a safe, nice area that is close to Albany. We would prefer the “rural feel” to the “urban feel”, but do not want to be too far from shopping/grocery etc. We would like the town to have a nice town center (maybe a park or a nice main street) and good schools. Finally, we enjoy yoga, health food, hiking, etc. and would like to be near these things.
I know this is asking a lot. But any communities come to mind?

I live in Clifton Park, ny, about 15 minutes north from albany. Clifton Park is a real nice area,close to shopping etc, but it is a little pricey ( i don’t know what your financial situation is). From Your description, it sounds like clifton park would be perfect for you. Scotia, Rexford; all about 15-20 minutes from albany also.
