Is my problem just a spastic colon?

Many different doctors have told me over the past 8 years that I have a spastic colon. There are ulcers in stomach as well. I have had so many tests done, I go to the gym every day and eat a balanced, special diet but I’m still bloated every day and wake up every morning with a stomach ache. I do stress allot but go to yoga classes. This problem is almost poisoning my system and I get burning pains in my muscles. I’m desperate! Does anyone know if something else could cause such symptoms? Maybe I’m trying to fix a related condition and not the real problem!

I am very sorry for your trouble, and I am doubly sorry because it is so difficult to pin down and resolve. It can be a thousand things, or a combination of thousands, or it may be a consequence of something else entirely. First of all, eliminate what it isn’t:
1. Allergies. If you can, eliminate all processed foods. All. Do the vegan bit – eat all fruits and veggies and sticks and twigs and crunchy bits. Your system will go nuts but it won’t hurt you and will probably speed up the purging.
